If you weren’t too impressed by chino’s the problem as I see it is that you went to the chandler location. The food there tastes surprisingly different than the offerings at the original location on greenway. maybe it’s years of grease buildup on the stove but the original is way better

Chinos is one of my favorite restaurants ever.
I am very disappointed you did not have a good experience.
I do agree with the user before me, that the original location is miles away better than the Chandler one.
Did you tell them it was your first time? If not, they would have given you free samples of all the food and you probably could have a more informed decision on what to get.
There are literally thousands of different combinations you could get and sticking with one can be very boring.
As for the cookie, yes it is delicious. They also offer oatmeal raisin butterscotch cookies on the weekends too.
My favorite plate includes jade red chicken burrito and quesadilla with black beans and chicken-friend rice.
Absolutely divine.
