I was witness to perhaps the pinnacle of sample grazing: the grand opening of the Costco in Paradise Valley. It was a feast I have never seen before, and we’ve been Cosco-ites since Price Club. If you must know, we went back the next day. One piece of advice: mid afternoon seems to be the best time for sampling; and avoid the early to mid mornings — slim pickens.
The Droids are not Costco Employees. There’s another Company that manages the sampling program for Costco & Sams Club.
Do not go to early.. and do not go to late. As the first poster recommended middle of the day is best and weekends are always the most samples. I would recommend noon for largest sample density.
Another tip.. In case you fail at discrete the people who run the sample stands rotate stations every so often. Also the different costco’s run different samples. You could always start at the one at 101 and cavecreek.. head over to raintree.. then down to PV
Go ahead! make a day of it. Sample your way across the valley. You paid for your membership and undoubtedly leave often with the standard $200-300 bill. Exercise your benefits!
It really helps if you bring a child with you. My daughter turns on the charm and she can go back almost as many times as she wants and get whatever she wants. It’s amazing!!
